Rob's photography began with an antique Eastman 8x10 camera, a Turner Reich Triplet lens. He would spend this formative time driving to the Flint Hills of Kansas learning how to use natural light to its greatest advantage.
Images are from 1985 to current work.
What you see here are images of rural Kansas, New Mexico, Leadville Colorado, and Wyoming. You will see a fascination with man's decaying footprint on the landscape.
The weather is nearly always plays a key role in each photo.
Each subject was observed carefully and taken at the right moment in time to render what Rob wanted to convey.
